The Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge is Queensland’s biggest and best bike ride. This Bicycle Queensland event is celebrating its 15th year and will see thousands of riders pedal 100km from the Eleanor Schonell Bridge in Brisbane to Southport on the Gold Coast.
The event is not a race. It is a recreational, mass participation ride which aims to get more people cycling more often and raises vital funds for Mater Foundation’s Smiling for Smiddy, as well as helping to increase physical activity in our community.
The event is organised in consultation with the Queensland Police Service and other relevant authorities. All relevant permits are either issued or are pending. A summary of road and lane closures is below.
